ABOUT US
Katina and Ashley have always been best friends as well as mother & daughter. They knew they wanted to create a career they didn't want to take a vacation from. After moving to Sequim, WA from Louisiana to be closer to the amazing National Park, beautiful hikes and abundant nature they knew this was the place they wanted to settle down. Ashley stared working for a local farm and discovered she love it and wanted a career in farming. Katina had been working in Corporate IT and knew she wanted to be outside and not confined to a desk. Thus Back to Dirt Farm was created.

Our goal in starting our farm is to create a calm, beautiful oasis for us to share with other and bring beautiful luxurious products for our guests to enjoy. After all, who doesn't enjoy pampering themselves from the comfort of their home. Our products allows visitors to bring a piece of the farm back with them to enjoy along with memories of their visit.
The Farm
Our 10 acre farm is divided into sections that we have lovingly nicknamed. Our front field is roughly 2 acres and is home to our lavender bushes and flower field. It is surrounded by beautiful pine, fir, cedar and lilac trees.

Next sits the farm house where our 'grow room' is dedicated to our plant starts and cuttings for our garden. This warm oasis is a favorite place to hang out in the winter.

Behind the house sits our orchard which we call the 'bee yard' thanks to left over bee boxes that we are looking forward to using in the future.

Next to the 'bee yard' we have our shop and drying barn.
​
Our 'back 5' is a 5 acre field where more lavender and our sweet peas are grown. The field is bordered by our neighbors who raise sheep and horses.

As our farm grows we look forward to welcoming visitors. We are preparing a lovely farm stay in our 23 foot 2016 Airstream for guests starting summer of 2022.
